2021 WAMX Senior State Round 1 - Manjimup
SENIOR STATE ROUND
The track was pretty gnarly but the squad loved it!!
Dylan Heard #90 was on the pace from the get go! Riding super consistent and smooth. Bar banging with some of the best in the state, Dylan kept it pinned staying inside the top 10 all day qualifying 5th before taking 10th O/A in the first race & 9th O/A MX1.
Sean Heard #172 is riding like an absolute machine! Had 2 of the best starts in MX2 race 1 coming out top 5 around the first corner, unfortunately both those starts were red flagged. After a more average start on restart 2 he showed his speed when he fought through the pack back to 8th O/A MX2. Race 2 saw a freak mechanical issue and we called him in to save doing any more damage to the bike.
Hannah Stewart #52 was on fire! Jumping straight out of the gate for race 1 with the holeshot and carrying that speed all the way through the moto to take 2nd O/A Women’s in that race. Race 2 a few minor crashes lost her a little bit of time but held on for 3rd O/A for the race.
Stoked with our whole team’s efforts for the first state round of the year & looking forward to smashing 5 more!
