2020 WAMX State Championship - Junior Round 1 - WJMC

MX State Championship Round 1, WHAT A DAY! Both our lads took on the 65cc & 85cc classes in some pretty average conditions! 🌧

Riley Fiford #543 had a bloody ripper! Good starts most of the day in both classes, a few small crashes and getting caught up in a big one didn’t stop him! He fought back to take out 3rd O/A for the day in 65cc 10-U12yrs 🥉 & 6 O/A in 85cc 9-U12yrs.

Luca Novello #276 also had a great day! Good, consistent starts as well as an awesome come back after getting tangled up in a big first corner pile up. Only just missing our on the podium, Luca brought home a hard fought 4th O/A in 65cc 10-U12yrs & 8th O/A in 85cc 9-U12yrs 🤘.

So proud of the efforts from both these legends! It was a tough day but they never gave up despite the sore bodies! 🙌 #teamyouneek ⠀

2019 WAMX State Championship - Juniors Round 5 WJMC

Great weekend with our junior squad at Round 5 of the WAMX State Championship. It wasn’t all smooth sailing with some big crashes and illness hampering the weekend but as always, that didn’t stop these legends from giving 110%! Will Rush was really unwell but pushed through the day to take a hard fought 7th O/A. Rhal Selway looked right at home with smooth lines and some great starts to finish 5th O/A. Kaj Radcliffe rode solid & consistent all day, fitness held him back a little but still came home with 8th O/A. Indy Radcliffe was absolutely charging on the 85cc bringing in his best result of 6th in race 1, but unfortunately a huge crash in race 2 left him pretty sore. He still gave it everything he had coming away 6th O/A on the 65cc & 15th O/A on the 85cc. Skye Graham also had a pretty big crash in race 2 leaving him a bit beat up but otherwise he had a solid day out bringing home 10th O/A on the 65cc 🏁

2019 WAMX State Championship - Juniors Round 4 Chidlow WAJMCC

A great day of racing by our juniors at Round 4 of the WAMX Junior State Championship.

Will Rush was on a mission! Battling in the top 4 all day, a big crash in race 1 bumped his final result to 4th O/A.

Rhal Selway rode smooth all day, race 3 he came out of the gate strong holding 2nd but unfortunately slid out mid way though the race. Rhal finished up 6th O/A for the day.

Kaj Radcliffe had some ripper starts in his moto’s! As always Kaj showed great consistency and speed to come away with 6 O/A. Our little shredder

Indy Radcliffe didn’t hold back, showing no fear as he held that 65 pinned & clinching another top 10 on the big bike. That placed him 6th O/A on the 65cc & 10th O/A on the 85cc.

Skye Graham had an outstanding day on the 65cc but unfortunately battled mechanical issues all day on the 85 which showed in his results, he finished up 8th O/A on the 65cc & 15th O/A on the 85cc 🏁

2019 WAMX State Championship - Juniors Round 3 Cranbrook

Wild weekend of racing in Cranbrook for the WAMX State Championships. Our junior squad had a challenge on their hands for round 3 with the extremely muddy track conditions.

Will Rush displayed true commitment in race 2 after going down in a 1st turn crash which resulted in his seat/tail being snapped off, he completed the race standing! Rushy finished 7th O/A.

Rhal Selway was unfortunately unable to gain any points for the day after his engine seized in race 1.
Kaj Radcliffe pushed through the tough conditions, keeping it consistent as always, Kaj finished 6th O/A.

Indy Radcliffe had a few ripper starts and kept it smooth throughout the day which helped him on his way to 5th O/A on 65cc & 11th O/A on 85cc.

Skye Graham was shredding on the 65cc with some strong moto’s to finish 8th O/A, however struggled a little on the 85cc with the wrong gearing for that terrain, landing him 16th O/A. A really top effort by all the young lads considering the conditions 🏁

We’d like to say a huge thank you to the Cranbrook Motocross for putting on such a well organized event and going that extra mile to help out. Thanks to our Youneek family and supporters for all their help as always!

2019 WAMX State Championship - Juniors Round 2 CollieMCC

Our juniors took on round 2 of the WAMX State Championship over the weekend. This one certainly challenged some, but as always they gave it 110%!

Will Rush fought hard after a few big dirt samples to clinch 5th overall.

Rhal Selway joined in on the dirt samples, which really affected his results, but he kept fighting and finished up 8th overall

Kaj Radcliffe gave it his all, some little mistakes really costed him, but he still finished with a solid 8th overall.

Indy Radcliffe was on fire, he’s really starting to get the feel for the bigger bike as he cracked the top 10. He finished 6th overall on the 65cc & 10th overall on the 85cc.

Skye Graham was on the pace on the 65cc but struggled on the bigger bike with the more technical track, he finished 10th overall on the 65cc & 17th overall on the 85cc.

Starts are definitely our nemesis and the lads will be working hard on that before round 3! 🏁

2019 Manjimup 15000 - Juniors

Manjimup 15,000 produced the goods!! 🙌

Junior day saw some incredible riding by our young lads.
Will Rush aka ‘Gold Rush’ put on a show with an awesome display of talent, just missing out on the podium. He took 4th overall & 5th in the shoot out.
Kaj Radcliffe stayed smooth & consistent after some minor suspension adjustments. He took 6th overall.
Rhal Selway had one hell of a day throwing the 85 around to take out 7th overall & 6th in the shoot out.
Indy Radcliffe turned it on big time, some awesome riding saw him take 5th on the 65cc, 12th on the 85cc & 5th in the 65cc shoot out.
Skye Graham was riding only the 85cc all weekend, he rode as smooth as ever managing 15th overall.
Ryder Coad was super consistent on both bikes, coming away with 19th on the 65cc, 21st in the 85cc & 13th in his first ever 65cc shoot out!

So proud of all our Youneek juniors! 🏁

2019 WAMX State Championship - Juniors Round 1 CMCC

What a wild ride! Our junior squad took on State Round 1 over the weekend, the first day had its fair share of challenges but all in all it was great weekend of racing by all the young lads.
The highlight of the day was watching Will Rush fight for 3rd in round 3, an absolute banga of a race! Will Rush finished up 4th overall.
Rhal Selway took a few big diggers but fought his way through to take 4th overall.
Kaj Radcliffe fought the fitness demons to take out 5th overall.
Indy Radcliffe showed great speed and consistency on the 65cc, finishing 6th overall while on the 85cc struggled to keep it upright but pushed and pushed to come out 15th overall.
Skye Graham had his fair share of bike issues, unfortunately his 65cc results show it, finishing up 14th overall on the 65cc with 1 DNF, 1 DNS & 14th overall on the 85cc.
Ryder Coad taking on his first ever state round pushed through on a super rough track to finish up 6th overall on the 65cc & 19th overall on the 85cc 🏁
